What should a peptide COA tell you?
A useful COA identifies the sample or lot, laboratory, analytical date, methods, and reported results. Match the lot on the received vial to the certificate; a catalog-wide purity claim is not a substitute for batch-specific evidence.
Start with identity
Confirm that the compound, lot or accession number, and dosage on the certificate correspond to the material being reviewed.
Separate identity from purity
Mass spectrometry can support molecular identity while chromatographic methods such as HPLC report relative purity under defined conditions. One result does not automatically prove the other.
Read the method and date
A percentage without an analytical method, date, and traceable sample identifier lacks the context needed for meaningful review.
Use the lot-specific record
Always follow the COA for the lot in hand. A newer batch result does not retroactively describe an older vial.

Analytical conclusions are limited to the sample, method, and report. Browse the COA library to match a released lot to its source PDF.
